Background
Dr. S. Todd Threadgill, M.D. is a leading, board certified gastroenterologist who is dedicated to treating digestive disorders. He received his B.A. in Biological Science from the University of Mississippi, where he graduated Cum Laude. He attended the University of Mississippi, School of Medicine where he was part of numerous academic societies.
He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Threadgill founded the Gastroenterology Associates of North Mississippi team in 1992 so that he could provide comprehensive, innovative treatment in a caring and supportive atmostphere.
While his clinical interests span the entire breadth of gastroenterology and endoscopy, he has published articles discussing Mallory Weiss Syndrome, Leukocystaclastic Vasculitis, and Vibrio Vulnificus Sepsis.
Dr. Threadgill is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Gastroenterology.
Since gastrointestinal disorders can create a great deal of discomfort and anxiety, Dr. Threadgill strives to provide state-of-the-art treatment in a compassionate environment. He tailors his treatment to each person’s needs and partners with patients to ensure that the plan of care exceeds their expectations.
